Greedytorrent is a freeware which can be used to increase your upload ratio even when you are downloading or uploading from your favorite bittorent clients.That is if you’re uploading at only 10KBps, you can multiple it even up to 100 times and get a total of 1MBps of uploads!GreedyTorrent puts you in control of your own upload ratio, you can define how much upload you want to submit to the tracker.
Confirming Greedy Torrent
Your BitTorrent client should have proxy support for tracker communication to make it work with GreedyTorrent. For a list of supported BitTorrent clients, click here. uTorrent and Azureus are examples of supported clients.
We need to configure the client such that its tracker communication is forwarded via GreedyTorrent. This can be achieved by setting proxy type as HTTP, proxy host as localhost and proxy port same as the listen port you configured in GreedyTorrent. By default the listen port is 3456.
